Speed up a old slow MacBook

I have been using my MacBook for the past 6 years and I love it. However, I’ve noticed that its performance has been deteriorating. For example, when I started to use it for gaming or some applications its screen starts to lag, it’s hard to get a good working performance with it and the fans are not fast when I’m working. If only there was a way to solve these issues quickly

It seems that there isn’t any one solution that can solve these problems. But a solution that doesn’t involve buying new hardware just came today. Some users found out a way to solve these issues using the Nvidia Control Panel. By using a little trick in the Nvidia Control Panel using Nvidia Inspector that you could increase the system-clock of the graphic card from its defaults.

It doesn’t appear that the system clock is automatically increased when the computer is booted so you need to do the following. You will need to have the System Monitor running with the “Voltage Scaling” checked. When you see a green bar on the top right of the screen, you can then open the Nvidia Control Panel and select the “Clock Manager” icon. Double click the icon to open the “Clock Manager” window. Then you can select the values that you want the system-clock to be: From here you can select a number by pressing the down arrow key and enter the value you want to change. You could also set the amount of time that you want the clock to run every 60 seconds. In any case, if you have other computer parts installed this will make your computer run much faster. It should be noted that you don’t have to use a Macbook at all. Just download the tool and use it on any computer running with Windows 7. It’s a good idea to make a backup if the tool didn’t get its files.
